I’m excited to personally announce Tony Zito’s appointment to Chief Executive Officer of Rakuten Marketing, LLC, overseeing the business in the Americas, Europe and Australia, as you may have seen in the news. Rakuten Marketing has thrived as a result of Tony’s leadership, since he joined as Chief Revenue Officer following the acquisition of mediaFORGE in 2012. In fact, it has represented some of the most aggressive growth we’ve seen at Rakuten Marketing, including 67 percent growth over the last two years. We achieve this by continually setting a higher bar for the level of service and dedication we provide to our clients. A key part of this has been Tony’s strategic direction in helping to shape Rakuten Marketing’s mission to re-invent omni-channel marketing with what we’ve coined the omni-experience. His vision has contributed to our significant growth, with over 140 clients currently utilizing multiple services. Central to delivering on our vision of the omni-experience is ensuring our core services are best in class. As CEO, Tony will be deeply involved in the support of each of our core channels, and the General Managers who oversee each service offering, to ensure we continue to provide and exceed the performance you’ve come to expect from Rakuten Marketing. In my new role as President of Rakuten USA, I will continue to support Rakuten Marketing as one of Rakuten’s largest businesses in the U.S. and fastest growing companies globally.
